Aangekomen!! Arrived!!

Vanochtend om 1 uur na middernacht kwamen we in ons appartement aan. We waren heel erg moe maar wel blij dat alles goed was gegaan: geen schreeuwend broertje, geen verloren bagage en we werden allemaal het land in gelaten op onze visums. We werden allemaal best laat wakker maar papa moest al om zeven uur op voor zijn medische keuring. Zo'n keuring is nodig om je verblijfsvergunning te krijgen. Ze doen dan bloedprikken en ze maken foto's van je borst en dan mag je weer gaan. Het duurde twee uur. Het gebouw waar ze de keuringen doen zit vol met mensen. Honderden mensen, van overal op de wereld. In de middag gingen we naar de mall. Malls zijn heel groot hier en je kunt er alles krijgen. Ze verkopen lalaloopsies, lalaloopsy rugzakken, lalaloopsy broodtrommeltjes en heel veel barbies. Elliot kreeg een pocoyo broodtrommel. Morgen moeten we vroeg op om mijn nieuwe school te gaan bekijken. Dat vind ik heel spannend. Maar ik mis wel mijn vrienden. Ons appartement heeft geen tuin dus ik kan niet met vriendjes spelen hier. Ik hoop dat we snel een huis vinden met een tuin. Overmorgen gaan we huizen kijken. Ik kan niet wachten!

This morning, 1 o` clock after midnight, we arrived in our apartment. We were pretty tired, but happy that all went well, no screaming little brother, no lost luggage and we were all allowed into the country on our visas. We woke up pretty late, though daddy had to get up at 7am already to go for his medical check. A medical check is needed to get a residence permit. They do blood tests and an x-ray and then you're allowed to go again. It took two hours. The office where they do the medical checks is filled with people from all over the world. Hundreds and hundreds of visitors. In the afternoon we went to the mall. Malls are pretty big here and you can buy about anything in the mall. They sell lalaloopsy dolls, lalaloopsy backpacks, lalaloopsy lunchboxes and lots of barbies as well. Elliot got a pocoyo lunchbox. Tomorrow we have to get up early to visit my new school. I am very excited. But I do miss my friends. In our apartment here there is no garden and so I cannot play with my friends like I do at home. I hope we get a house soon so that I can play with friends. The day after tomorrow we are going to see some houses with gardens. It's going to be lots of fun.
